Excerpts From Our Fall 2009 President's Letter:
For those of you who are “seasoned” CT INS Chapter Members, I am certain you will enjoy and appreciate what we have in store for our chapter this year. For those of you who are new members, welcome! And I’m sure you will be just as pleased as the “seasoned” members. I am very happy to report that we have a very active chapter. We had a wonderful gathering at the New Mill Restaurant in Southington, CT for our June dinner and Board transition meeting. Dr. Robert Tolan gave a very informative lecture on CR-BSI’s and even answered some questions regarding his experience with the H1N1 Flu. The dinner and socializing were great. Our board members work very diligently to provide our members with educational as well as social offerings.
I had the opportunity to attend the National INS meeting in Nashville, TN this past May. What an exciting event. The educational offerings and networking sessions were excellent. I also had the pleasure of participating in two round tables for chapter board members. I am happy to report that we have one of the largest and most active chapters in the country! It is exciting to be a part of it all.
I am honored to serve as your CT INS Chapter President and look forward to strengthening and growing our chapter.
Warm regards,
Robin
